Attorney with more than 30 years of experience of leadership in Corporate, Banking, and Finance Law. Specialist in mergers and acquisitions, jointventures, private equity, financing structuring, realestate, and foreign investment.

 

Throughout his career, he has advised multinational corporations, financial institutions, investmen tfunds, and local companies on strategic and complex transactions, both domestically and internationally. He has held senior management positions in the financial and corporate sectors, advancing initiatives related to innovation, competitiveness, and economic growth.

 

He holds a specialization in Commercial Law and has received training in Mergers and Acquisitions from Harvard University. In May 2026, he assumed office as Second Vice President of the Republic in the administration of President Laura Fernández Delgado.

 

He was also a member of the board of directors of various local companies, contribut in glegal and strategic expertise to decision-making.

 

In 2020, he was recognized by the prestigious international publication Best Lawyers asthe Best Lawyer in Banking and Finance Law in Costa Rica (2020).
